Holding the Constitutional Awareness Seminar in Badakhshan Province
Independent Commission for overseeing the Implementation of the Constitution has hold Seminar on 29th of Aqrab current year on constitutional awareness entitled "Constitutionalism in Afghanistan's 100th Anniversary of Independence in Faculty of Agriculture, Badakhshan University.
At the seminar, in addition to the Honorable Dr. Mohammad Qasim Hashemzai, president of the Independent Commission for overseeing the Implementation of the Constitution, Dr. Abdul Ruof "Herawi", Member of the Independent Commission for overseeing the Implementation of the Constitution, Mr. Mohammad Zia Farahmand Head of the Communication and Public Awareness Department,Mr. Akhtar Mohammad Khairzada Deputy Governor and acting Governor of Badakhshan Province, Mr. Niyaz Mohammad Zakeri Vice Chancellor and acting chancellor of Badakhshan University, professors, students and members of civil society were also participated.
The seminar began with recitation of verses from Kalamullah Majid, then Mr. Neyaz Moahhmad Zakiri vice chancellor and acting chancellor welcomed the guests and, expressing gratitude to the commission that all institutions consider the constitution as a national and valuable guarantee and will implemented their discourse.
First Qanoonpoh Dr. Mohammad Qasim "Hashemzi", president of the Independent Commission for overseeing the implementation of the Constitution appreciated the Badakhshan Provincial and Badakhshan University for providing the seminar focusing on various constitutional materials of (4, 27, 71, 73, 100,121 and 157)articles and presented the constitution, which has attracted the attention of the participants and at the end of presentation answered questions of professors and students of Badakhshan University about the constitution.
Then, Dr. Abdul Rouf "Herawi" Member of the Independent Commission for overseeing the implementation of the Constitutional presented the National Assembly on the Constitution focusing on Chapter Five of the Constitution and its related articles and defined the constitution in a scientific way. He explained the articles 81 to 109 of the Constitution to the participants and answered the participants' questions on how the National Assembly was formed, its duties and powers in the constitution, which were welcomed by the participants.
Subsequently, Mr. Mohammad Zia "Farahmand" Head of the Communication and Constitutional Awareness Department presented his presentation on (Government in the Constitution of Afghanistan) to the participants with a focus on Articles 71 to 80 of the Constitution and answered the participants' questions.
Honorable Akhtar Mohammad Kheirzadeh, Deputy Governor and Head of Badakhshan Provincial Authority, mentioned that young and well-educated forces in Badakhshan were well-developed and despite the fact that we have been fighting for 40 years, there are also forces that are in line with the constitution and national interests of the country. They are more valuable and we as responsible for the local bodies in Badakhshan ensure that we always uphold the constitution and the rule of law and put it at the heart of our implementation.
Continuously, Mr. Akhtar Mohammad Khairzada, Deputy Governor and acting governor of Badakhshan Provincial, mentioned that young generation has grew up with well-educated capacity in Badakhshan and despite the fact that we have been fighting for 40 years, there are also forces that are in line with the constitution and national interests of the country and we as responsible for the local authorities in Badakhshan ensure that we always uphold and abide by our constitution and rule of law and put ourselves at the forefront of our performance.
At the end, Dr. Mohammad Qasem Hashemzai, president of the Independent Commission for Overseeing the Implementation of the Constitution, assessed the one-day seminar as: Our goal is for come to Badakhshan province is that constitution,its values and rulings in all provinces, districts and villages of Afghanistan should be properly implement and the Commission has numerous programs in 20 provinces of Afghanistan over the past three years and these programs will continue to be expanded.
The Seminar ended with pray for goodness of the country and people.
